Heaps of garbage are being dumped everyday on major road medians in Alimosho Local Government. Igando, Ikotun and Idimu Roads have become an eyesore despite recent pleas from the officials of the Lagos State Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) on the health hazards surrounding inappropriate waste disposal methods.

Heaps of garbage still pile up on most roads in Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos, despite the recent call by officials of the Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) that their services are very affordable and residents should stop dumping refuse on the roads.
