Okun Alimosho has announced plans to celebrate Alimosho Festival from Tuesday, November 24, 2020, till Friday, December 20, 2020.
Okun Alimosho is a socio-cultural organisation aimed at inculcating a marketable African experience of art, music and culture in every product and services in the community.
Recall that the organisation had joined in the celebration of Nigeria's 60th independence on Thursday, October 1, 2020.

Speaking with AlimoshoToday on the upcoming Alimosho Festival, the Convener, Babatunde Oluwaseyi Adeola said: "Alimosho Festival intends to celebrate culture and Alimosho. We are celebrating talent, land, food, kings, fashion, singers and everything that came naturally from God. Alimosho Festival is a time for people to exhibit their talents, demonstrate their culture and to engage in a healthy competition that will yield a rich economic growth in Alimosho.
"In five years time, we hope to see Alimosho become one of the richest tourist centres during the Yuletide season through this festival. This event is supposed to last for three months, but we are starting with three weeks in a bid to ensure we express the vision of Okun Alimosho, which is exploring, resuscitating and substantiating African culture. The mission is making sure every products and service is garnished with a marketable African or Nigerian cultural experience.
"We are using Alimosho Festival to exhibit all we have been doing over the years. Okun Alimosho is into affecting businesses in Alimosho from rebranding and customer relations to maintenance policies. Also, we run a business executive club. We are using Alimosho festival to exhibit different things in Alimosho like talent, music, dance and a whole lot. All these is to engage the community positively so that our strengths are positively engaged and people are well relaxed in such an atmosphere. This is what Alimosho Festival is about and that is what we are celebrating."
Event flowThe activities lined up for the festival include Asa Day, Sport & Games, Alimosho Business Summit 2020, Alitown Gots Talent, Okun Art Exhibition, Alimosho Mega Fair, Alimosho Carol, Children's Funfair, D3 Night, Alimosho dey hot, Alimosho Jazz night, Fuji night, Award/ closing ceremony.
The venues for Alimosho Festival are Abesan Stadium, Kelly Ann, Happiness Event, De-Dems, Rubies and Okla Hotel.
