The enormous voting strength of the Igbos in Lagos has, over the years, been very instrumental to the outcome of the Guber elections. With the introduction of LP and considering the post-Presidential election violence, will the Igbos still back the APC?

The PDP chieftain also called on Lagosians to come out in large numbers to vote for the LP candidate in the March 11 election.

He was subsequently charged before the Ogba Magistrates Court on a two-count charge bordering on conspiracy and malicious damage, which attracts several years of imprisonment if he is found guilty by the Court.

The meeting was very tense in Alimosho and Oshodi LGAs as members accused the leaders publicly of anti-party activities.

The Apex Group, while urging Lagosians to vote out Sanwo-Olu, also added that the attack on Igbos would not be tolerated.

Crowds were seen at the entrance of banks along the Idimu-Egbeda road. The customers, who were said to have been there since about 7 am to obtain their numbers, are present to withdraw cash from their respective banks.
