WITH five days left to March 11, 2023, Governorship elections in Lagos State, the supporters of the candidate of the People's Democratic Party, Abdul-Azeez Adediran (Jandor) and his Deputy, Funke Akindele have begun distributing handbills to Alimosho people to secure their votes for the candidate.
The PDP supporters were seen along the Idimu-Egbeda road at the Pako bus stop in the Egbe-Idimu LCDA of Alimosho LGA, distributing the handbills.
The leaflet is a one-page, two-faced one. The front showed the pictures of Jandor and Funke Akindele, while the back shows the right way to thumbprint on the ballot paper for the PDP.
Come Saturday, March 11, 2023, Jandor would be up against APC's Babajide Sanwo-Olu, LP's Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, and ADC's Funso Doherty.
Last week, reports emerged that the PDP and LP may form an alliance to defeat Sanwo-Olu. It is however not clear at the moment if that scaled through as planned since Jandor recently received endorsements from some groups, and seems to be fully ready to head to the polls alone.
