Residents of Igando, in the Igando-Ikotun LCDA of Alimosho LGA earlier this week apprehended two men who attempted to kidnap two schoolboys of Egan Senior School, Igando.

The Lagos State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has informed Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State that it will render his counterpart in Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, jobless in 2023.
Ahead of the 2023 governorship elections in Lagos State, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Dr Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran (Jandor), on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, declared that there would be local council autonomy in his administration if he assumes office in 2023.

It was another big win for the Igando-Ikotun LCDA under the leadership of Comrade Akinsanya Lasisi Ayinde as the council emerged as the First Best Crop Farmer in the year 2022 World Food Day celebration.
6. CONFUSION AS POLICE ARREST FATHER FOR ATTEMPTED DEFILEMENT OF 14-YEAR-OLD DAUGHTER IN IKOTUN
Police operatives from the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Yaba, Lagos, have arrested a 52-year-old man, Tony Onyeagoro, for allegedly sexually molesting his 14-year-old daughter by stripping himself naked and attempting to rape her.
