AS part of the developmental strides and agenda of Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Executive Chairman of the Igando-Ikotun LCDA, Comrade Lasisi Akinsanya, has officially kick-started the groundbreaking of the construction of Oyisa Road, measuring about 246km and cutting across several communities in Egan, Igando.
Information reaching AlimoshoToday states that this project, which will enhance economic activities in Egan, is scheduled to be completed in six months.
According to the Executive Vice-Chairman, Hon. Mojisola Badmus, who doubles as the Supervisor for Works, the construction of concrete drains will curb the recurrent flooding problems faced by residents and motorists in the area, which has caused many landlords to abandon their houses and many businesses to relocate.
On his part, the Chairman applauded the State Government for its continuous effort to make sure that the area is developed, stating that, “The road is a bypass linking several communities, such as Isuti, Agric Road, Igando, Iyana Iba express, and so on”.
