Accord Party’s Governorship candidate, Peter Oboyuwana, said he is stepping down for Sanwo-Olu due to his efforts at combating the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as for laudable infrastructural development projects across the state.

The Governor also visited a church on Sunday, where after the service, he stood at the entrance of the church to exchange pleasantries with members of the church. 

“In the midst of Yorubas he calls himself Gbadebo, in the midst of Igbos he calls himself Chinedu, his identity is questionable.”- Giwa Murtala Omotola-Moore.

“As Lagosians, vote for all APC Candidates across Lagos. Even if you weren't a party-person, make sure you vote APC Candidates in Lagos, simply because, it is the right and commonsensical thing to do.”- Kehinde Joseph.

They said their decision was informed by Sanwo-Olu’s outstanding performance in office and they believed that he should proceed for a second term.

Banks are now mandated to receive the old notes deposited by customers over the counter.

Recall that in February 2022, Alimosho APC party members had performed a mock-up last burial rites, complete with coffin bonfires and burial polos, signalling the end of Aregbesola's political reign in Alimosho.

Despite threats and a campaign of calumny against him, GRV has continued to enjoy widespread support and endorsements, even from leaders of opposition parties.

The late corps member, who was serving with the Curriculum Services Department of the Lagos State Ministry of Education in Alausa would have passed out in June 2023.
