THE Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr Kadiri Obafemi Hamzat, has urged all residents of the State to protect their environment from those who hide behind the mask of #ENDSARS protests to unleash mayhem and commit horrendous acts against the good people of Lagos.

Less than 12 hours after organised thugs burgled supermarkets and shops in Ikotun, hoodlums who disguised as protesters are also encroaching various shops at Isheri- Idimu in Alimosho.

Armed hoodlums have reportedly attacked the Egbe-Idimu Local Council Development Area (LCDA) Secretariat in Alimosho Local Government of Lagos on Wednesday afternoon, looting offices and stores.

NIGERIA's commercial capital, Lagos, and several States were placed under curfew on Wednesday following a day of violence triggered by the shooting of civilians by soldiers at the Lekki Tollgate.

SOLDIERS have been reportedly shooting into the air at about 8:30am on Wednesday morning at the Isheri-Olofin Roundabout, Egbe-Idimu Local Council Development Area of Alimosho Local Government to disperse protesters who blocked the road.

Igando Police Station in Ikotun-Igando Local Council Development Area of Alimosho is currently on fire amidst sporadic shooting from the police station. An alleged crowd of thugs on motorcycles are encroaching on the police station to respond to the shootings with petrol and fire. Police officers are trapped inside and all they keep doing is to shoot to ward off an imminent attack but the situation seems to be helpless right now.

Major roads in Igando and Ikotun have remained persistently blocked with no thoroughfare, hours after the State Government declared an emergency curfew to begin from 4:00pm.

As the #EndSARS protest hits the 12th day today, the Lagos State Police Command in a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Olumuyiwa Adejobi,  has banned all protest due to violent attacks and alleged hijack by hoodlums.

Major roads in Lagos have been held to a standstill as the #EndSARS protest enters it's 12th day today. Isheri-Olofin Roundabout is presently blocked, so is Council Roundabout and Cele-Egbe Bridge.

THE Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Hakeem Odumosu, on Sunday, October 18, 2020, was compelled by aggressive #EndSARS protesters at Okota to trek in company of his senior officers for more than 10 kilometres, in order to pay a visit to an assaulted grandma.
