The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) has debunked viral news currently circulating about Governor Sanwo-Olu warning them not to arrest any defaulting motorist in the State. The General Manager of the Agency, Mr Bolaji Oreagba, explained that the false report, which is the “handiwork of faceless mischief makers has been repeatedly circulated online since February 2020 despite being severally refuted by the Management of LASTMA.”

4. LASG LAUDS ALIMOSHO GENERAL HOSPITAL FOR EFFECTIVE HEALTHCARE DELIVERY

The Lagos State Government has lauded the Alimosho General Hospital, Igando for its giant strides and tremendous progress in delivering effective healthcare services to Lagosians. The commendation was given by the Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Health Service Commission, Dr Ademuyiwa Eniayewun, when he led the Hospital Transformation Support Initiative (HTSI) Team on an assessment and support tour to the hospital on Wednesday, June 7, 2023.

The Lagos State High Court has announced that it will begin its annual end-of-legal year vacation on July 24, 2023, to signal the end of the year 2022/2023 legal year. The vacation will end on September 15, 2023.

6. LAW STUDENT BREAKS LASU 40-YEAR HISTORY, GRADUATES WITH PERFECT 5.0 CGPA4153

A student of the Faculty of Law at the Lagos State University (LASU), Aminat Imoitesemeh Yusuf, has emerged as the Best Graduating Student for the 2021/2022 academic session with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 5.00, bringing an end to LASU’s 40-year history. The honour will be accompanied by a N500,000 cash prize from the University Management.
