UEFA announces Champions League quarter-final draw

THE quarter-final stage of the UEFA Champions League is already here, as eight teams from Europe's top clubs have made it to this stage.

The eight clubs include; Chelsea, Manchester City, Real Madrid, Benfica, Bayern Munich, Napoli, Inter Milan, and AC Milan.

The draw, which was announced earlier today, Friday, March 17, 2023, will see these big teams go up against each other to see who emerges victorious.

Last season's winners, Real Madrid who also have the most Champions League trophies will be facing a two-time winner, Chelsea for a chance to advance to the next stage.

Guardiola's return to Bayern Munich has come, as Manchester City would have to deal with them to fight to secure the trophy for the first time.

An Osimhen-led Napoli would be fighting their own battles elsewhere against AC Milan, as they would be hoping to win the Champions League trophy and the Scudetto in the same season.

On their part, Benfica, who have been astonishing this season, has been handed the task of disposing of Inter Milan who won't be backing down easily as a European trophy would look good in their cabinet.

With these teams paired against each other, the semi-final draw has also been arranged.

Semi-Final 1
Inter Milan/Benfica vs Napoli/Ac Milan.

Semi-Final 2
Real Madrid/Chelsea vs Manchester City/Bayern Munich.
