BARCELONA striker, Robert Lewandowski will be out for about a month after picking up an injury in Barcelona's 1-0 win against Porto yesterday.
The 35-year-old striker was replaced by Ferran Torres after 34 minutes of Barcelona’s tie with Porto in yesterday's UEFA Champions League group game.
Barcelona has now confirmed that the player picked up a left ankle injury and will be out till the injury heals, which is estimated to be over a month.
“Tests conducted this Thursday morning have revealed that Robert Lewandowski has sprained his left ankle and will be out of action until the injury heals,” Barcelona’s statement reads.
This means the former Bayern Munich forward won't be available for selection in Barcelona's next four matches against Granada, Athletic Club, Shakhtar Donetsk, and Real Madrid later this month.
