NIGERIA'S senior men's football team Manager, Jose Peseiro strongly believes that the Osimhen-led Napoli team can win, not only the domestic league but also the Champions League trophy this season.
The Italian club is on the verge of winning the Serie A trophy known as the Scudetto, as they have an 18-point gap over the closest contenders, Inter Milan with just 12 matches left to the end of the season.
Peseiro believes that Naples can also add the Champions League trophy to their accolades this season, irrespective of Bayern Munich and Real Madrid being involved in the competition.
"I think that Napoli, as well as being able to win the championship, can also aim to win the Champions League," Peseiro said to Sportitalia.
“Of course, there are teams full of champions like Real Madrid and Bayern Munich who obviously aim for victory, but I don't see them as unbeatable this year," he added
Napoli would have to take down Frankfurt in the Champions League round of the 16-second leg fixture today, as they have the advantage after winning 2-0 in the first leg of the game.
