SUPER Eagles of Nigeria forward, Victor Osimhen has been nominated for Power Horse Emerging Player of the Year at the 2022 Globe Soccer award.
The Napoli striker, who recently returned from injury, has been in fine shape since his return and will be going head-to-head with 19 other footballers who have been nominated also.
Among the candidates nominated for the Emerging POTY are Bukayo Saka(Arsenal), Jude Bellingham (Borussia Dortmund), Ryan Gravenberch (Bayern Munich), Joško Gvardiol (RB Leipzig), Jamal Musiala (Bayern Munich).
Others are Florian Wirtz (Bayer Leverkusen), Eduardo Camavinga (Real Madrid), Federico Valverde (Real Madrid), and Ilaix Moriba (Valencia).
The 13th edition of the Dubai Globe Soccer Awards will take place on November 17, 2022, just a few days before the commencement of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar as footballers, coaches, managers, agents, and promising players will be crowned.
Unfortunately, Osimhen will not be partaking in this year's World Cup, after Nigeria fell to the Black stars of Ghana at the World Cup qualifier games.
