Osimhen, Boniface, Iwobi named in Nigeria's most valuable players

The CAF African Player of the Year was valued at €120M by Transfermartkt, which places him at the top of the table.

SUPER Eagles and Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen has topped the list of Nigeria's most valuable players, which also contains the names of Victor Boniface and Alex Iwobi.

The CAF African Player of the Year was valued at €120M by Transfermartkt, which places him at the top of the table and three times the value of the second most valuable player, Victor Boniface at €40M and four times the value of the third most valuable player, Taiwo Awoniyi at €30M.

The latest Transfermartkt update shows the recent values of all the Super Eagles players, with the likes of the in-form Leicester City pair, Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi making the list, as well as Fulham midfielder, Alex Iwobi.

The players' value depends on the player's performance at the club level, which explains why Osimhen is top, having won the Scudetto last season while Victor Boniface's value could continue to increase due to his performance in the Bundesliga.
