FOLLOWING an impressive performance at the 2023 AFCON tournament, Super Eagles of Nigeria goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali has attracted interest from England and Saudi Arabia clubs.

The silver medalist winner at the 2023 AFCON tournament could leave Chippa United sooner than expected as interest continues to build up around the 27-year-old shot-stopper.

According to renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, Championship side Queens Park Rangers and Saudi Pro League outfit Al Ettifaq have emerged as clubs after the Super Eagles player.

Also, the South African club, Kaizer Chief is interested in the goalkeeper, but their chances remain slim as Nwabali would be interested in challenging England football or going for money-rich Saudi Arabia.

While the three clubs have enquired as regards the player, Chippa United have made it known that they would look into his future as it appears they would be open to letting him go provided the financial requests are met.

Nwabali was back in action last Friday and conceded a goal when Chippa United drew 1-1 with Stellenbosch. He has managed to keep seven clean sheets in 16 PSL appearances.
