SPANISH club, Barcelona have shown interest in bringing Wolverhampton Wanderers' midfielder, Ruben Neves, to their side when the summer transfer window opens in June 2023.
Neves, who is valued at €40 Million, is wanted by the Catalans to serve as a replacement for 34-year-old Sergio Busquets who is set to leave Camp Nou at the end of the season when his contract expires.
Reacting to the interest of Barcelona on him, the Portuguese, as quoted via Fabrizio Romano, said: “If you ask in general, all players want to play for Barca! It’s one of the best clubs in the world. It’s a privilege for me to be linked to this team.
“Who wouldn’t want to play for Barcelona? It’s normal.”
Barcelona is yet to make an official offer for the player, as they would want to wait until after the World Cup in Qatar.
Arsenal and Manchester United are the other clubs also in a race for the versatile midfielder.
