ROAD CONSTRUCTION: Igando-Ikotun Vice-Chairman inspects proposed roads

THE Executive Vice-Chairman of the Igando-Ikotun Local Council Development Area, who is also the Supervisor for Works and Housing, Hon. (Mrs) Mojisola Ajarat Badmus, has gone on an inspection tour of some of the proposed roads slated for total construction and rehabilitation by the council this year.

Information reaching Alimoshotoday states that the inspected roads by Badmus and her team on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, include Obabiyi Street, Dasilva Street, Buba Anthony Street,  Balogun Street, Asiwaju Street in front of the Onikotun Palace, C. A. C Avenue,  Oko-Ila Street link inside Borepo Estate, Itoki Street, and Fatimoh Street.

While addressing some residents of the area, Badmus said that the Executive Chairman of the Council, Comrade Lasisi Ayinde Akinsanya, is in a haste to bring rapid development to the council area, noting that most of the proposed roads are link roads that will reduce traffic congestion in the major roads when completed.

She then urged residents of these areas to cooperate with the engineers during the construction period.
