THE members of the Lagos State Local Government Service Commission (LGSC) on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, visited the Igando-Ikotun LCDA on a familiarisation tour to meet the senior council officials.
During the visit, the Executive Vice-Chairman, Hon. Mojisola Ayinke Badmus, who represented the Council Chairman, Comrade Lasisi Ayinde, welcomed the members of the Commission to the council, adding that she knows every one of them as men of integrity with an excellent track record. 
On his part, the Commissioner of Lagos Island Division, Hon. Akeem Bamgbala, who led the team, thanked the staff for their support while referring to the Igando-Ikotun LCDA as the Centre of Peace.
Bamgbala informed them that the Commission’s purpose for the visit was to familiarise with the staff, know their areas of challenge, and proffer solutions, stating that the Commission would be close to the workforce, assuring them of another visit to see the entire staff.
He also commended them for the wonderful job they are doing in the council and assured them that they’ve got a deal that cannot be faulted with this set of commissioners while praying for God’s guidance for them to discharge their duties effectively and appropriately.
The Commission met with the Council-Manager, Council Treasurer, Heads of various Departments, and the staff.
