THE Member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Alimosho Constituency II, Hon. Kehinde Olaide Joseph, has extended condolences to the family, friends, and political associates of a veteran politician in Alimosho and Lagos, Chief Jimoh Ajao, who passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2023.

In his tribute to the elder statesman, a veteran politician, and a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Kehinde Joseph said that the death of the politician was both a colossal loss to the Progressives family and a great loss to Alimosho, Lagos, and Nigeria.

The State Lawmaker noted that Chief Ajao was an accomplished and veteran politician of high repute and a respected and detribalised Nigerian who left indelible footprints in Alimosho, Lagos, and Nigeria's political development. He recognised that the Awori-born politician was a man of generosity and conscience who devoted his time and treasure in pursuit of good governance.

Kehinde Joseph, while further stating that Chief Ajao was a kind-hearted soul, good-spirited man, and rich in content of character, expressed that he was steadfast in his love for the unity and development of Alimosho, Lagos, and Nigeria at large.

The Chairman of the House of Assembly Committee on Public Account (State), on behalf of his family and the good people of Alimosho Constituency II, extended his condolences to the people and Progressives family of Alimosho Federal Constituency, as well as the Ajao family and prayed God to grant his soul eternal rest.
