Ikotun Central Joint CDA members pay courtesy visit to Igando-Ikotun CDC office

THE members of the Ikotun Central Joint Community Development Association (CDA) have paid a courtesy visit to the Igando-Ikotun Community Development Committee (CDC) office to congratulate and felicitate with the newly inaugurated CDC Chairman, Pastor Ojo Samuel Olasupo.

Information reaching Alimoshotoday states that the team, which comprises Principal Officers from CDAS across the Ikotun Central Ward, were welcomed by Pastor Ojo Samuel and appreciated for their hospitality when he visited their Joint CDA.6172 

The Spokesperson of the team, Prince Noah Abiola, the Chairman of Irebami CDA, spoke on behalf of the visitors and pledged their solidarity and support for the new CDC administration. 

He then appealed to elected and appointed leaders to always attend CDA meetings within their locality as an avenue to identify with those within their area of residence. 

On his part, Pastor Ojo Samuel, the CDC Chairman identified Ikotun Central as his political Ward while assuring the visitors that there will be innovations that will boost the relationship between the community and the government. 6173

He assured that there will be regular monthly CDA/CDC meetings while promising to ensure that the gap between the government and the community stakeholders is closed for a better relationship. 

He advised the CDA stakeholders to go back to their various CDAs to intensify efforts on self-help community projects and promised to liaise with the government for the provision of grants to performing CDAS. 

At the end of the meeting, a congratulatory card was presented by the visitors to the CDC Chairman.
