THE former Igando-Ikotun LCDA Chairman, late Hon. Morenike Adesina Williams, has been buried amidst tributes from friends, political associates, and family, ending a three-day funeral rite that began on Wednesday, August 9, 2023.
Late Morenike was buried at Ogbaji Akoko in Ondo State on Friday, August 11, 2023, after a funeral service held at the Saint John Anglican Church in Akoko, Ondo State.
While speaking at the funeral, the Executive Chairman of the council area, Comrade Lasisi Ayinde Akinsanya, said: “Ernest Morenike lived an extraordinary life. But, perhaps, what deserves greater attention is the way she carried herself through life and the high values she exemplified.
“Her knowledge and experience-driven leadership and counsel that she provided always with unfailing humility and courteousness; these were the unique virtues that underpinned her extraordinary achievements.”
