Balogun Ikotun presents Commendation letter to Akinsanya

THE Executive Chairman of Igando-Ikotun LCDA, Comrade Lasisi Ayinde Akinsanya has been presented with a Commendation letter by the royal family of Ikotun kingdom following the laudable infrastructural developmental strides embarked on by his (Akinsanya) administration in the last one year in office.

Presenting the commendation letter to the council Chairman in his office on Thursday, November 17, 2022, was the Balogun of Ikotun kingdom, Chief Rabiu Hassan. 

While presenting the letter, Chief Hassan said the Council helmsman was a round peg in a round hole, noting that his administration has brought expected developments to the council area within a short period of time.

Chief Hassan, who doubles as the Head of the Public Affairs Unit, Ori-Ade LCDA and the Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, (NUJ), Igando chapter, said he felt positive and very good about the Executive Chairman’s achievements within his one-year in office. 

"Sir, as your brother, I have been following your administration since you assumed office and based on my conviction in your performance, I feel positive and good about you, hence this letter of commendation," he said.

In his response, the council Mayor appreciated the Onikotun of Ikotun land, Oba Azeez Gbadabiu Asiwaju, Chief Balogun Hassan, and other Chiefs in Ikotun land for the honour.

"The joy in me knows no bounds, Balogun, I value your visit because this commendation is from the source; my very source, sincerely, it inspired me to do more, and as an Awori man, I won't disappoint my people, I promise that I won't disappoint the good people of Igando-Ikotun LCDA," Akinsanya vows.

Present during the visit was the Deputy leader of the Legislative Arm of the council, who is also the Councilor representing Ikotun Ward A, Hon. Ganiu Olayinka Wahab, Chief Whip, Hon. (Mrs) Sherifat Idowu, among others.
