“One of the fun things that were introduced at this event was the art painting. For me, it's my First time engaging in this type of game activity then I realized that it’s another way to show women that we can do what we set to do in our heart no matter the barriers,” she stated.

Similarly, Mrs Mayegun also graced the Union Bank’s Alpha Women event tagged ‘Breaking Biases, Shattering Barriers’.

The event featured success stories from Nigerian women who are pioneers in their respective fields.

One of such women is Dr Abimbola Abolarinwa who is said to be the first female urologist in Nigeria.

Dr Abolarinwa talked about how she was able to achieve her goal of being the best in a field that was earlier dominated by men. She also shared some tips to the women present at the event on how to become successful in their chosen field.
