AHEAD of Saturday, March 11, 2023, State House of Assembly polls, the Member, Lagos State House of Assembly, representing Alimosho Constituency II and the All Progressives Congress (APC) LAHA candidate for Alimosho 02, Hon. Kehinde Olaide Joseph has promised the residents of Ayanwale Community, in the Isheri-Oshun Ward of Igando-Ikotun LCDA in the Alimosho LGA that he will rehabilitate their un-paved road if he is re-elected into the Lagos State tenth (10th) assembly.
The Alimosho Lawmaker made the disclosure on Friday, March 11, 2023, at Ogo Oluwa/Ayanwale CDA, in continuation of his re-election tour/engagements to all the communities across the constituency. He noted that he will facilitate the construction of the road to open up the communities and create access to other streets in the neighbourhood.
He also disclosed that his representation had, within the last three and half years, attracted the construction of many urban and rural roads in the constituency to facilitate the transportation of people and other valuable products to the markets, thereby improving the living condition of the people.
The Chairman of the House Committee on Agriculture, during the visit, also urged the residents and executives members of the community to take note of his promise on the facilitation of the road project while adding that other dividends of democracy will get to the community if the All Progressives Congress (APC) is returned to office in the Governorship and State House of Assembly elections on Saturday, March 11, 2023.
"As the holder of your mandate and your representative, twenty-eight (28) road projects have been initiated in our Constituency. You will see that cluster of roads in Akesan, Ijagemo, and others were already constructed, and some are still ongoing.
"I am apologising to all the residents of Ayanwale for the scarce government presence in your community. I'm promising you today that the construction of your road will be among many good things that will come to the neighbourhood.
"I am soliciting for your votes and enjoining you and other communities in the Alimosho Constituency II to come out en-masse and vote massively for all the candidates of our great party, APC, on Saturday, March 11, 2023," he reiterated.
On the Lawmaker's entourage to the community was the former Executive Secretary and Supervisor for Works and Infrastructure, Igando-Ikotun LCDA, who also doubles as the Director-General of his campaign group, Hon. Wale Oniloko Azeez, APC party chieftains, among others.
