In his speech, Akinsanya described Oba Lasisi Gbadebo Gbadamosi as an erudite scholar, who combined royalty with intellectualism, adding that this reflected in the way he superintended over the Alimosho Federal Constituency Traditional Council as Chairman.

“The kind of honour and recognition that Onigando gets in the comity of Obas, not only in Alimosho but also in Lagos state, within the time he assumed office, is unprecedented. All these happened within 45 years of his reign.5263

“I must thank Kabiyesi, who has brought peace to Igando. Let me say that Onigando is developmental and progressive in every aspect, hence his commitment to growth, especially to the growth of our administration,” he added.

The Oba Onigando’s anniversary attracted an array of distinguished personalities to Igando, including the Vice-Chairman of the LCDA, Hon. Mojisola Ayinke Badmus, and the Apex leader of Igando-Ikotun, Hon. Jimoh Ajao, among others.
