THE Chairman of the Igando-Ikotun Local Council Development Area LCDA, Comrade Akinsanya Lasisi Ayinde, has bagged an Awori Tourism Award of Gratitude during an annual award ceremony organised by the Awori Tourism Board and presented to him in his office at the council secretariat.
Information reaching Alimoshotoday states that the award was given to the Chairman as an appraisal of his performance, support, and promotion of community-based tourism activities in Lagos.
During the award presentation, Akinsanya thanked the organisers for recognising and appreciating his effort towards “nurturing the infant unit into a career-driven sector.”
He assured the people of Igando-Ikotun of more support and synergy between the state, national, and international tourism agencies that will enhance and promote the culture and tourism of Igando-Ikotun LCDA.
