THE Executive Chairman of Igando-Ikotun LCDA, Comrade Lasisi Ayinde Akinsanya was honoured with the Outstanding Leader of the Year award by the Association of Nigerian Theatre Practitioners (ANTP) during the year 2022 World Theatre Day celebration at the Lagos Theatre, Igando on Sunday, March 27, 2022.
According to a correspondence signed by the Media Aide to the Chairman, Comrade Oseni, the council boss was given the award in recognition of his remarkable and outstanding performance in promoting the interest of the ANTP and the Igando-Ikotun LCDA as a whole.
In his acceptance speech, Akinsanya encouraged the ANTP members not to relent in their efforts but keep up the good work.
“Photographs speak more than a thousand words, it does not require formal education to understand a picture because it is a universal language in itself,” he said.
He appreciated the honour bestowed on him by the association, saying it is a challenge to do more not only for ANTP but for the entire community.
