THE Chief Operating Officer of Okun Alimosho, Mr Babatunde Oluwaseyi Adeola, popularly called 'Just-Joe', has revealed his plan to launch the Africa Arise Initiative during his 40th birthday celebration.

Africa Arise Initiative is a non-governmental organisation established to resuscitate, substantiate and promote African culture everywhere.

Speaking with AlimoshoToday on the initiative, Just-Joe said: "The job of African Arise Initiative is to go around Africa to raise ambassadors of love who will embrace their culture and use it as a tool to draw wealth. As we keep intentionally promoting our culture, other people and nations will be attracted to it. This will invariably move our poverty line away from what it is. That is the essence of African Arise Initiative.

"I believe that day (launch event) will be the beginning of a new thing that will be launched from Africa to the world. I’ve taken the mantle of the priest of Africa, leading people aright into what they should become and breeding ambassadors of love across the world.

"What is really happening to Africa? It’s neither skill nor knowledge, but a mindset and cultural war. The only thing destroying Africa is ignorance - Ignorance of who their father really is. The day Africans arise in their mindset, Africa will change. If these properties are put in place, everything will be okay."

The launch event is scheduled for Sunday, February 7, 2021 at the KellyAnn Event Centre, 3/7 Aderele Street, off Ogunlana Street, Egbeda, Lagos at 3:00 pm.
