THE Executive Chairman of the Alimosho Local Government Area, Hon. Jelili Sulaimon has flagged off the construction of Omirinde/Omooba Jesu Street as part of the 114 Road construction project by the Lagos State Government for all Local Government Areas/Local Council Development Areas in the State.
The flag-off, which was held at Omooba Jesu junction and had in attendance all Local Government officials and the contractor, as well as his team, marked the commencement of the road construction, which expectedly will be completed in six months, being the project duration.
Recall that on Monday, May 13, 2024, the Chairman held a stakeholder meeting urging the host community to cooperate with the Government throughout the project duration. The assurance of the community for the safety and security of project materials and cooperation with the contractor made it easy for the Government to begin the road construction.
