Jelili engages Alimosho stakeholders on 114 roads construction

Jelili engages Alimosho stakeholders on 114 roads construction

THE Executive Chairman of the Alimosho Local Government Area, Hon. Jelili Sulaimon has engaged the stakeholders residing on Omirinde/Omooba Jesu Street, Akowonjo, in preparation for the commencement of the construction of the street as part of the 114 road project to be carried out by the Lagos State Government across the state.

The event, which was held along the street on May 13, 2024, had in attendance Government officials, as well as the community leaders who reside on the street and beyond. 8cfdfc23-fd23-4b3f-bf7b-3ec4b5a6db40

While the Government officials promised to ensure that the contractor did a very good job, they also requested that a committee be put together by the residents for the coordination of the project.

In his remarks, the council Boss encouraged the residents to give maximum support to the contractor and not collaborate with them to steal or sell the materials. He also requested that all residents with skills in carpentry, brick-laying, and welding should approach the contractor for engagement.

Appreciating the Government officials, Mr David Adeoye, the Omituntun CDA Chairman prayed that God will see the contractor through. He also affirmed that the project is a big joy for him and the entire CDA because it will attract more rapid development.
