THE Executive Chairman of the Alimosho LGA, Hon. Jelili Sulaimon, has called on unemployed persons across all six LCDAs of Alimosho LGA to take advantage of the ongoing data collection of the National Directorate of Employment (NDE).
Jelili made the call when he played host to officials of the NDE at the Council Secretariat. During the meeting, the Chairman also appealed to the officials of the Directorate of Employment to dutifully carry out the data collation of all the youth that presented themselves for the ongoing data collation of unemployed youth.
He said, "Data collection is the foundation for seamless planning. A society that refused to plan is doomed. When we know the number of unemployed youth that we have within our communities, it gives us the idea of the skilled and the unskilled workers."
Alimoshotoday reports that officers of the National Directorate of Employment, NDE, are now situated at the Alimosho LGA Secretariat, Akowonjo, inside the council hall, from morning till 3 pm daily, to register unemployed persons in Alimosho.

The exercise will be held between April 17 and April 28, 2023, across all six LCDAs in Alimosho LGA.
