SEQUEL to the Federal Government of Nigeria’s announcement about the registration of unemployed persons in the 20 local government areas of Lagos State, officers of the National Directorate of Employment, NDE, are now situated at the Alimosho LGA Secretariat, Akowonjo, inside the council hall, from morning till 3 pm daily, to register unemployed persons in Alimosho.
Recall that the NDE state office in Lagos announced that the exercise would hold between April 17 and April 28, 2023, across the 20 local government areas of Lagos State.

The Lagos State NDE office Coordinator, Mrs Serena Edward, in a statement, said the exercise is to allow the Federal Government to have the complete data of the unemployed persons in the country to make adequate plans for them and to curb mass unemployment and reduce the craving for white-collar jobs that are not adequate for the teeming number of graduates churned out every year.
