THE Executive Chairman of Alimosho LGA, Hon. Jelili Adewale Sulaimon has joined family and colleagues to mourn the passing of the Lagos Governor’s Advisor Council (GAC) member and former South-West Women Leader, Chief (Mrs) Olukemi Nelson.
The council boss in his condolence message extolled the leadership qualities of the late party chieftain.
The message reads; “There are two types of people in a political party; those who came to snatch opportunities and those who came to create opportunities.
“Madam Kemi Nelson falls in the second category considering her beautiful political and administrative history. She spent her time, money, wealth, and health for our great party as a dutiful stakeholder.
“There is no part of our development as a party that didn't witness her positive contributions. Indeed, she remains unforgettable.
“I, Hon. Jelili Sulaimon, the Executive Chairman of Alimosho Local Government joins the Progressives all over the world to commiserate with our great party across all levels, our dear Lagos State, and the Nelson family in particular on the loss of a party mother and good wife.
“May Allah grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss.”
