THE Executive Chairman of the Alimosho Local Government Area, Hon. Jelili Sulaimon has hailed the council area’s Community Development Committee, CDC, following their successful monthly meeting where members were urged to cooperate with the Local Government for adequate development.
In a release made available for publication, the council Boss stated that the Government has enjoyed immense cooperation from the inception of this administration and believed that, moving forward, this cooperation will continue unabated. 
According to the council Chairman, the call made at the last meeting for cooperation between the CDC/CDA with the Government and other public service operators like the PSP is a good way to ensure peace and progress.
Note that the CDC held its meeting on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at the Local Government Secretariat where issues, including sounding a note of caution to CDAs on the sales of cooking gas on the street due to its potential danger, allowing iron pickers (iron condemn) to loiter around the community, as well as allowing shoe shiners access to buildings should be refrained from because there is evidence that thieves have hijacked these activities.
The meeting was also used to seek collaboration with the Government concerning levies collection and with the PSP operators to rid the environment of dirt.
The CDC Chairman, Venerable Adetunji Samuel Adewuyi, assured the community representatives at the meeting that a once-announced Lagos palliative has commenced in some LGA/LCDAs and will soon reach the Alimosho LGA.
