THE Executive Chairman of Alimosho Local Government Area, Hon. Jelili Adewale Sulaimon has received PSF Badmus Usman in his office at the council secretariat after the soldier's long stay away from Lagos State on a security assignment.
Reports reaching Alimoshotoday through the Media Aide to the Chairman, Hon. Opeyemi Yusuf, declare that PSF Badmus Usman is one of the beneficiaries of the local recruitment scheme of the Nigerian Army (NA) which involved the NA coming to the grassroots to recruit fresh intakes for the force.
“After a successful interview, PSF Badmus Usman joined the NA and has since been a part of the reason why our Nation has been experiencing positive progress in securing the lives and property of the citizenry.
“As a show of appreciation to the council boss and to seek more advice moving forward, the visit became very necessary,” the statement reads in part.
The council Mayor, on his part, appreciated the gesture and advised the young soldier to be dedicated to his duty as success lies ahead, while also wishing him the best of luck as he continues to contribute his quota to the progress and security of Nigeria.
During the visit, PSF Badmus Usman was accompanied by his brother and father.
