The LCDA's report says the grading is being done with laterite.

The grading appears exactly the way Market and Shobukola Streets first appeared on August 4 when their construction began four months ago.

Residents say that they believe the Agodo community has been abandoned since it is not close to the Council Secretariat.

A resident, Mr Babatunde Aliyu says, "we did not know that any grading could commence here because other places such as Idimu is like a Government Reserved Area (GRA) that is given more priority.

Another resident, Alhaja Balikis Shotayo says she is happy about the grading because the road has been impassable for many years, as erosion has washed off all the soil on the road.

Alhaja Shotayo expressed hope in seeing more progress in the construction of the road.
