How we can help our women enhance Alimosho's social development

Alimosho has the potential for up-sailing growth and development if an attention is given to the community women.
ALIMOSHO COMPASS (1)

ALIMOSHO women are a huge asset. They are stakeholders in the making of the fabrics that make Alimosho very thick. You see them six days a week by the road engaging in trade, selling to make a profit and directly contributing to the Alimosho economy as tax payers.

Alimosho has the potential for up-sailing growth and development if an attention is given to the community women. The women as much encouragement as they can get by the way of financial support, orhanised local business seminars, and earning sincere empathy from our able community leaders across the LCDAs.

Our women need financial support to improve their businesses. A "Local Women in Local Business" Trust fund may be the appropriate thing to initiate and where banks in the community are partnered with by our community leaders to fund women businesses.

Periodic training also will play a role in motivating these great women and inspire them to build growing and sustainable businesses and also enlightening them on the appropriate approaches to grow their businesses.

On empathy, our leaders should promote a fair playground for businesses owned by community women. Tax collectors should be counsel on the right approaches used in collecting taxes. The women are the weaker sex and there is the tendency of being bullied by tax collectors. This bullish act must be abolished. This way, Alimosho will deliver in their role of making Alimosho great as we envision.
