The Honourable Commissioner for Tourism, Arts & Culture, Mrs Uzamat Akinbile-Yussuf, has presented a car gift to the foremost leader of APC in Agbado-Okeodo LCDA Chapter, Elder Philip Olamigoke, popularly called Baba Philip.
While presenting the car to the leader, the Commissioner revealed that it was the leader who took her into the political journey.
"I recalled that when I showed interest in politics, it was Elder Philip that took me round to all party leaders and elders in the entire Alimosho Federal Constituency. He left his personal work to make sure that I met all the political actors and members in Alimosho, especially in Agbado-Okeodo LCDA. I will forever be grateful to him," she said.
She noted that this is a token appreciation to him for his unflinching support to the cause of APC in the LCDA.
In his response, Elder Philip, who was full of praises, thanked the Commissioner for the surprise car gift.
He stated that the gift was still like a dream to him as he never expected any such gesture from her.
He prayed that God would continue to uplift her in her political sojourn.
