THE Executive Chairman of the Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA, Hon. David Famuyiwa has felicitated the Muslim faithful in the council area as they celebrate the Year 2024 Eid-el-Fitr.
His goodwill message to the Ummah on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, read: I sincerely felicitate our dear Muslims across the LCDA as they join other faithful world over in celebrating this year's Eld El-Fitr, which marks the successful completion of the Ramadan fast. “Ramadan signifies the auspicious month that cleanses both the body and the heart of all Muslim brothers and sisters after adhering to the teachings of the Holy Quran and the Prophet.
“May I use this medium to call on all Muslims to imbibe and practice the virtues of kindness, love, tolerance, peace, self-denial, sacrifice and good neighbourliness, as exemplified by the Holy Prophet Mohammad ( Peace be upon him).
“As we all know the current economic situation of the nation, let us keep praying for our dear country and show empathy and benevolence to others while keeping our hope alive for the dividends of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
“Happy Eid-el-Fitr.”
