TO commemorate the 57th birthday anniversary of the Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, the Executive Chairman of Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA, Hon. David Famuyiwa, together with APC party stalwarts, executive members, legislative arm, management and staff of the council area held a prayer session for the governor at the council secretariat on Monday, June 27, 2022.
According to reports made available for publication by the DOF Media Team, during the event, some of the clerics and political stalwarts described Governor Sanwo-Olu as a leader of repute and class who shows a great sense of commitment, without partiality, to both the Islamic and Christian religions.
The Council Boss in his remarks lauded the sterling performance of the Governor since the inception of his administration. He went on to further admonish the gathering on the need to get their PVCs in order to cast their votes for the APC Candidates in the coming 2023 general elections.
Both the Islamic and Christian clerics took turns to lead the attendees in a prayer session for the Governor, the Nation and the 2023 elections.
The occasion was attended by the Vice-Chairman, Hon. Ajoke Moromoke Obe (who gave the vote of thanks), Executive Members led by the Secretary to the Local Government, Chief Akinwumi James Odeyemi, Legislative Arm led by the Leader of the House, Hon. Olatunji Ogunyemi, management team and staff of the council led by the Council Manager, Mr Olugbenga Shogbamu and party faithful led by Agbado Oke-Odo G-14 Secretary and Agbado Oke-Odo APC Emeritus Chairman, Cooperator Olusegun Shodiya.
