HON Famuyiwa, the Chairman, Agbado-Oke-Odo LCDA has joined in the merry of the Eid Mubarak celebration as he felicitates with Muslims in the Local Government Area.
In an official congratulatory message, he said, "It is Eid-il-Kabir - the sacred season in Islam in which Muslims perform the Hajj (Holy Pilgrimage) and commemorate the faithfulness and sacrifice made by Prophet Ibrahim.
"I want to implore everyone to imbibe the sacrifices of Prophet Ibrahim (Peace be upon him) in ensuring that we live peaceably amongst ourselves and shun all acts of violence.
"May Allah accept your good deeds and sacrifices. May He alleviates your sufferings, forgive your transgressions and replace your sorrows with joy just as He replaced Ismail with a ram.
"On behalf of my family and the good people of Agbado/Oke-Odo LCDA, I wish all faithful Muslims a great Eid Mubarak celebration".
He also took advantage of the joyful moment to remind the public of the coming election.
"Let us also be reminded that the Local Government Elections is on Saturday, July 24, 2021. I encourage us all to come out en masse to vote for APC candidates across the state.
"We are still battling with the third wave of COVID-19, let us celebrate with caution and restraints", he said.
