IN continuation of the cash empowerment exercise that began last year and to further ameliorate the effects of the fuel subsidy removal, the Executive Chairman of Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA, Hon. David Famuyiwa, has again empowered 102 community members with a cash price of #25,000 (twenty-five thousand naira) each.
Information reaching AlimoshoToday stated that Famuyiwa gave out the widow’s mite during the APC party Mandate Movement meeting held on Friday, February 16, 2024, at the APC Secretariat, Daleko, Abule Egba.
In his address, the council Helmsman appreciated party members for attending the February meeting. In the same vein, he extended his warm welcome to the newly decamped members (led by Mr Junaid) from PDP to APC, saying it's been a long time coming.
Hon. Famuyiwa reiterated his commitment to support his constituents through this period of hardship. He further stated that his empowerment is not restricted only to the gathering and that more is being done beyond the Mandate meeting empowerment. 
He also used the medium to bring his constituents up to speed on the ongoing infrastructural projects within the council area. He emphasized that road construction of Olawale Cole Street, Abule Egba and Owodunni Street, Alagbado (Phase II) will begin by the end of February 2024.
Present at the meeting were foremost party leaders, G-14 leaders, Ward representatives, council Executives, and party faithful.
