THE Agbado Oke-Odo All Progressives Congress (APC) party held its LGA meeting on Thursday, August 11, 2022, in a grand style as party faithful came out in their large numbers to attend the meeting.
According to reports, the council boss, Hon. David Oladapo Famuyiwa, in a rather unprecedented gesture, used the medium to support over 100 party members with cash gifts.
In his remarks, the Council Boss reiterated his commitment to the development of the LCDA, adding that the cash token is just a way of showing his appreciation to his teeming supporters.
He emphasized that the empowerment is continuous and will go round everyone in due time.
The beneficiaries, both male and female, old and young (who were carefully and randomly selected across the seven Wards) expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Council Chairman and prayed for more grace for him.
While speaking with members of the press, Hon. Famuyiwa also solicited support for the election of all the APC candidates in the forthcoming 2023 general elections with particular reference to the Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and the Lagos State Gubernatorial Candidate, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
Present at the meeting were party leaders, members from the seven wards, and elected and appointed council officials.
