THE Executive Chairman of Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA, Hon. David Oladapo Famuyiwa, on Monday, May 2, 2022, celebrated with the Muslim faithful in the council area as they celebrate the year 2022 Sallah celebration.
The council boss, in his celebration note, wrote; “Gratitude to Allah for His mercy to witness this year's Eid-el-Fitr. It is on this note that I, on behalf of my family, the executive committee members, legislative arm, management team, staff and the good people of Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA, felicitate with our Muslim brothers and sisters as they celebrate the break of the obligatory month-long fast. May Allah be praised.
“Today is basically a day of celebration for all Muslim faithful who have fasted for 30 days in the Holy Month of Ramadan and will, Insha Allah, receive the forgiveness, mercy, and blessings that Allah grants everyone who observed the fast.
“Over the course of the month, prayers have been offered, sermons heard, sins forsaken, and it is my hope that you consolidate on the lessons learnt throughout the fasting period and live a life of strict discipline.
“I, therefore, urge everyone to use this Holy occasion to encourage, show and share the love while promoting peace and unity among ourselves such that the gains made in the month of Ramadan will not be defeated.
“May Allah approve your kind deeds, forgive your disobedience and sins, and shower His immense blessings upon you and your loved ones even as we pray for the grace to witness and celebrate many more Eid-el-Fitr in mercy, joy, happiness, peace, and fulfilment.”
