MEMBER staff, family and well wishers gathered at the Agbado Oke Odo LCDA on Wednesday to reminisce Late Dr. Augustine Adeoye Arogundade, the former Executive Chairman, Agbado Oko-Odo LCDA.

Dr Augustine Adeoye Arogundade died last year June barely few days after the Secretary to the Local Government (SLG), Alhaja Tawakalitu Abiodun Ayilara died after a brief illness. Both leaders' death fueled rumour of Covid-19 attack at the council secretariat.

Late Arogundade was reported to have been sick briefly before his death at an unnamed hospital. He was, according to the LG staff, an achiever and a visionary leader of the masses.

The incumbent chairman of Agbado Oko-Odo said  Arogundade was a pillar he took as mentor "I will never forget your impact in my life and the political gathering of Agbado Oke Odo LCDA. I believed in your Legacy which I will continue to protect, follow & obey" he said.

The remembrance ceremony was attended by pastors, imams, and present party and LCDA leaders who all spoke about Arogundade's contribution to the Secretariat.
