Agbado Oke-Odo gets new health centre

The Lagos State Government, through the Lagos State Primary Health Board of the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, has handed the keys of the newly constructed Oke-Odo Primary Health Centre to community members of the Agbado-Oke Odo Local Council Development Area.

This is in line with the importance attached to the health and well-being of the citizenry of Lagos State.

In his speech at the handing over, the Executive Chairman of Agbado/Oke-Odo LCDA, Honourable David Famuyiwa appreciated the Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwoolu for his kind gesture and for coming to the aid of the people of the LCDA. He also used the opportunity to request for more of this gesture from the state governor.

Engr Aiyepe Idris, who supervised the project, applauded Governor Sanwo-Olu for his support and the cooperation he received from the staff and people of Agbado/Oke-Odo while the facility was undergoing construction. He promised the entire LCDA to expect more of these good deeds.

The Medical Officer of Health in Agbado/Oke-Odo LCDA, Dr Solomon Oyetoyan, expressed his delight at the delivery of the facility for use by residents of the LCDA, giving his word that the health centre would be properly utilized and maintained for the benefit of the communities.
