CRYSTAL Palace winger, Wilfred Zaha, has now equalled Nigeria and Arsenal legend Nwankwo Kanu's Premier League record of 273 appearances.
The Ivorian equalled the ex Super Eagles of Nigeria forward when he appeared for the Premier League fixture against Leeds United.
Should Zaha feature against Southampton at St. Mary’s Stadium on April 30, he will overtake Kanu’s mark to occupy the third position. The winger already boast of being the player to have suffered the most fouls in the competition’s history.
Kolo Toure who was a former Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool player tops the list with 353 caps, while Newcastle icon, Shola Ameobi, stays second with 298 caps under his belt.
Unfortunately, Crystal Palace could only muster a point against Leeds United on Monday as they have now gone three Premier League games without a win.
