SUPER Eagles of Nigeria midfielder and 2023 AFCON silver medalist, Alex Iwobi has made it known that Ayo Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, is his favourite Nigerian artist.
The Fulham player, who bagged Fulham February Goal of the Month award for his goal against Manchester United in a 2-1 win, has picked the Grammy award winner as his favourite artist.
Iwobi was bold enough to clear the air that he would pick the “Essence” crooner over “African giant” Burna Boy.
Speaking in the latest episode of the ‘Would You Rather…, Iwobi said: “I prefer Nigerian music to English. Wizkid is my favourite Nigerian artist. I feel him more than Burna [Boy]. I have always been a big fan of Wizkid.”
The former Arsenal and Everton player is no doubt a fan of Wizkid as he has been seen severally in pictures with the multiple award-winning artist.
