Ten Hag terms Arsenal ‘lucky’ over fitness issues

Ten Hag thinks everyone in Arsenal is strong, but the likes of Gabriel Jesus, Emile Smith Rowe, Thomas Partey, Eddie Nketiah, Mohammed Elneny, and Leandro Trossard have been unavailable at one point in time due to injuries.

WHILE dealing with his injury woes, Manchester United Manager, Erik Ten Hag has referred to league leaders, Arsenal as being lucky not to be hit by fitness problems this season.

The Dutch tactician has, no doubt, had his share of injury and fitness problems this season, as a bunch of his players are not fit, including Eriksen and Garnacho.

Ten Hag has blamed the struggles for the lack of rhythm in the team, saying that is what differentiates them from Arsenal.

“When you see all season we have had some setbacks, every time we've dealt with it, It's about the players who are available and every time there's a team on the pitch who deals with it.

"In just one game, we had the squad available totally and I was able to pick my team, from a tactical approach, perfectly - that was against Manchester City at home this season,” Erik told reporters.

He further lamented, “Every other time, it's been one player suspended, injured, or unavailable through illness.

"We have to deal with it well but Arsenal, all the time their squad is totally available.”

It is unknown what angle Erik Ten Hag is speaking from because Arsenal has had its share of injury and fitness woes.

The likes of Gabriel Jesus, Emile Smith Rowe, Thomas Partey, Eddie Nketiah, Mohammed Elneny, and Leandro Trossard have been unavailable at one point in time.
