Super Falcons prepare for international duty

The likes of Asisat Oshoala, Ashleigh Plumptre, Rasheedat Ajibade, Ngozi Okobi-Okeoghene, and Tosin Demehin, among others, are already in the camp ahead of Friday's encounter.

THE senior women's football team, the Super Falcons of Nigeria, have begun preparations for the friendly match against Haiti and New Zealand.

As it stands, 19 players have reported for international duty, as Super Falcons Head Coach, Randy Waldrum, intends to use the friendlies to prepare his team for this summer's FIFA Women's World Cup.

Currently in camp for international duty are Yewande Balogun, Regina Otu, Esther Okoronkwo, Onome Ebi,  Etim Inyene, Abiodun Deborah, Halimatu Ayinde, Vivian Ikechukwu, and Glory Ogbonna, who arrived at camp on Tuesday, April 4, 2023. 

While Asisat Oshoala, Ashleigh Plumptre, Rasheedat Ajibade, Ngozi Okobi-Okeoghene, Tosin Demehin, Rofiat Imuran, Chiamaka Nnadozie, Gift Monday, Toni Payne, and Christy Uchiebe arrived camp today.

The Super Falcons will play World Cup-bound Haiti women’s national team at the Emir Sports Complex in Antalya, Turkey, on Friday, April 7, 2023, and then play World Cup co-hosts New Zealand at the Mardan Sports Complex on Tuesday, April 11.
